Behind the magazine are Maija Zummo and Ian Wissman, two University of Cincinnati alumni who sought to supplement their reading lists with writings from strangers. Every issue’s cover is designed by a local or regional artist and serves as a theme piece to the title of each volume. Each issue is also hand made.
The goal at Milk Money is to publish the unpublished, attract new interest in print, and deliver some high quality fiction, prose, and poetry that might have otherwise never seen the light of day. Some contributors are first-time writers, while others stand as veterans of the trade with several of their pieces featured in other publications.
